Network Monitor.

Network monitor doesn't collect any data from your computer. Your IP address is logged in your logs within your computer (accessible using the Console application on your mac and filtering for 'Network Monitor') and can be logged by the server at 4.2.2.2 as this is the server your computer 'pings' to identify if Internet is available.
